Week 13
Day 1
Got my report ready after the proof reading and I have checked the turnitin as well for the first time. I have only very less amount for the turnitin.
Waiting to show the report to the supervisor and get the approval for the submission by end of this week.
Day 2
I had a discussion with my supervisor and I am done with the report and everything is fine. Ready to go ahead. Also our supervisor discussed about our next week poster presentation and what we should do and how to design our poster and what should we include into the poster and how we have to present.
I got couple of questions about the poster and got answers to those as well.
Week 12
Day 1
I have completed my research and done writing the report as well. I am waiting to show my report to the supervisor and get the feedback of my complete and report and do proof reading of the report.
I have checked all the references and I noticed that some of the articles are not included in the reference but I have added them and completed my report references and even the report format and style.
Day 2
Met my supervisor and got a very good feedback from the supervisor for the report. Nothing to change or add anything more to the report. I am doing the proof reading and show the completed proof red report to the supervisor by next week and make sure I can submit my report and check the turnitin percentage as well.
Week 11
Day 1
This week I have seminar presentation and then to complete the whole report. I have finished the report almost. But I have to change few points in the chapter 3 and chapter 2 that I am not happy with. Presentation slides are done and I have to proof read slides and make sure everything is in order.
I found some more documents for my case studies. Hopefully I can investigate and add some more information to my case studies. I want to complete the report and consider again about the recommendations.
Day 2
I had my presentation today. It went well. I did some minor mistakes in the presentation but it didn’t effect to my presentation.
I had a discussion with my supervisor and decided to add two more subtopics to the chapter 3. I had to find more facts and articles regarding the added topics. I have to complete those two subtopics and complete the report for proof reading and check all the technical terms as well and references. By now I have found so much information about privacy issues.
Week 7
Day 1
I had to find out about how digital assistant will turn the human life to another side. And what digital assistant will do to human life. I am reading some of the articles about various digital assistants in various platforms. Found some various sides that privacy issues are extended to.
I have almost all the facts for the Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. Recommendations to safe use of digital assistant is not available to read in any article, journal or in a report. I have to prepare my own point of view for safe use.
Day 2
I discussed with my supervisor about the recommendations ideas that I have for. Supervisor corrected me in some points and guided me with some valuable points that helped me very much for writing the recommendation.
I am on the write scheduled timing for the project. I have discussed with supervisor about the submission date and about finishing up the project.
Week 6
Day 1
Finally, Completed the table of contents fully and even included all my case studies as well. I am happy about my progress. In the chapter 2 I am almost 70% done and need to complete other 30% soon as possible. But sometimes it takes time when I go through some articles and journals.
Found some good reports that is published recently. Same time I got the chance to discuss with my colleagues at work about the topic and even their view of privacy. I learnt many things and got some new ideas.
Day 2
In my topic I can relate some of the security issues into privacy perspective as well. Thats is good because then I can write something own knowledge as well. Data breaches is one of my subtopics in the chapter three and I can even relate that to privacy issues in points.
As usual met with the supervisor as well. My supervisor advised me to keep this speed in upcoming weeks and finish the project on time.
Week 5
Day 1
I have done writing the chapter 1 and even started my litreture review. I think I can finish the project soon since I have done my research. Same time I focused on making the table of contents for the chapter 3.
I found some of videos as well about describing digital assistants and I found a good case about Amazon Alexa that I can relate to my project.
Day 2
Its the meeting day with my supervisor. I showed my progress at the moment and discussed about some issues I am facing in writing. He answered to all my questions and I am clear with everything. Still some changes to do to table of contents.
He informed us about the marking schedule and what is examiner is looking on my project and how the examiner is assessing us based on what we have done.
Week 4
Day 1
I have started to do more researches on Privacy issues and violations and to include some open discussion to my project and address them in my project. Things that is relavant to my project.
However, I did my table of contents. But my facing a problem when I am going to put write word into the topic. I am going to get help for that from my supervisor.
Day 2
My supervisor today advised us to start writing the chapter 1 since it doesn’t need any research to be done. We can write it help of our project proposal and same time he checked everyones table of contents.
I have discussed with my supervisor about my topics in table of contents and he helped to me put write words into the project. For the moment I have done Chapter 2 table of content and even the chapter 3 but my supervisor informed that I have to do changes to chapter 3.
Week 3
Day 1
We have to submit our project and get ready to present it as well. I am done with the project proposal document but I had to some proof reading and English check on my document.
Started to create the presentation as well because we have to present it after we submitted the document.
Day 2
We had to submit the project proposal and all went well and had to do the presentation too. My supervisor pointed me out some minor mistakes I have done during the project.
Our supervisor asked to make the project structure and get an idea then to create table of contents of the project.
Week 2
Day 1
I have started to research more on my topic and select specific topic regarding what I am going to do in the research. Started to prepare my final project this week and hopefully I will manage to finish this by Friday.
Went through all the educational databases that I can find from NMIT database.
Day 2
Today I met the with my supervisor and he is happy with the topic and project proposal. But he guided me through some of my project objectives that is not clear at some points. Therefore, I changed little in my objectives to take meaningful outcome.
Same day our supervisor David explained about the project proposal presentation that we have to give by next week and what should we include on to it.
